LED LIGHT THERAPY

LED (light-emitting diode) LIGHT THERAPY is based on the principle that living cells are able to absorb and are influenced by light. This is a type of therapy that has grown in popularity for its regenerating and anti-inflammatory properties.

The tissues of the body easily absorb light, different tissues absorb different wavelengths of light, when absorbed, the specific wavelengths stimulate the body’s own repair and regenerative mechanisms, so they can be used alone or in conjunction with other therapies.

SKIN PEELS

What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel is a technique used to improve and smooth the appearance of facial skin, neck or hands, using a non-toxic chemical solution which causes to superficial skin cells to exfoliate and eventually peel off. 

The new, regenerated skin is usually smoother, lighter and less wrinkled than the old skin.

How does the process work?

Before having a chemical peel, some patients need to follow a pre-peel skin care plan for 2 weeks. This plan can improve the results and reduce potential side effects. Your therapist will tell you whether this is necessary.

In a chemical peel, a chemical, non toxic acid solution is applied to the skin surface and left there for a short time so that the skin can absorb it. A slight tingling sensation may be experienced during the process, but this is normal. After this time, another solution is applied to neutralize the traces of the acid and raise the pH of the skin to the physiological level to stop the chemical process. Over the next 1 to 14 days, depending on how deeply the chemical has penetrated, the skin might peels off and the benefits show.

How does it work?
